Heidi Bender Kauffman was the lead artist for this project and the course instructor for ARTS 2999: Special Topics at Shawnee State University.  She is an artist who investigates the intersections of technology, the physical environment, and the webs of connected individuals that populate the Earth.   Her work has been shown in venues across the United States and abroad such as The Pittsburgh Center for the Arts in Pittsburgh, PA, ROY G BIV gallery in Columbus, OH, and the Huembes Folkloric Market in Managua, Nicaragua.
